Spanish Grand slams (singles) 18-times champion “Rafael Nadal” has reached to the Wimbledon quarter-finals after beating João Sousa.
The Spaniard Nadal first serve percentage was low with 57 while he sealed victory by 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 over Joao Sousa.
Since 2010 Nadal hasn’t won the Wimbledon championship, but this year he is looking in very good form to make his third straight Grand Slam winning after his victory against Sousa.
The Spanish Champion and world men’s rank no. 2 – Nadal rarely was in trouble in a match. In the game, Nadal took a 4-0 lead in the first set in just early minutes of play and finally wrapped up the match in one hour and 45 minutes. He says he still feels there is a need for improvement.
Left-handed 2-times Wimbledon Champion Nadal will face an American in last eight, Nadal meeting with either Sam Querrey or Tennys Sandgren in the quarter-finals.
